Swedish Relaxation Massage is perfect for those who enjoy pure relaxation! This massage utilizes long gliding strokes, kneading and friction techniques. Light to firm pressure is used, based on your comfort level (30, 60, 90 and 120 minute sessions).

Deep Tissue Massage is perfect for those who enjoy firm pressure and just want to melt into the table (30, 60, 90 and 120 minute sessions).

Reflexology is a science and therapeutic art utilizing specialized techniques to apply pressure to reflex points on the feet, hands and ears. Reflex points are linked by neurological pathways that correspond to the glands, organs and tissue systems of the body. Reflexology encourages relaxation and stress reduction, improves circulation, promotes the unblocking of nerve impulses and provides the opportunity for physiological changes to occur in the body which help to restore balance (30, 60, 90 and 120 minute sessions).

Aromatherapy is the use of pure, therapeutic grade essential oils that have multiple benefits to aid the mind and body. The oil chosen for your session depends on your specific needs and is diluted in a carrier oil.

Aromatherapy Lymphatic Massage is a luxurious, rhythmic full body massage that combines soothing gentle strokes with the healing aromas of therapeutic grade essential oils. This massage specifically stimulates the lymphatic system, cleanses the skin and promotes increased circulation, detoxification and relaxation. Aromatherapy Lymphatic is perfect for boosting the immune system during cold and flu season and is a wonderful compliment to a detox, weight loss and /or exercise regimen. The best effects are noted when completed once per week in a series of at least 5 sessions (60 minute sessions only).

Hot Stone Massage utilizes heated, oiled stones to penetrate deeply into tight muscles, melting away stiffness and adhesions in the tissues. This massage also enhances detoxification while inducing an extremely relaxed, meditative state. Please request hot stones at the time you schedule your appointment (60 and 90 minute sessions only).

Neuromuscular Rehabilitation is a form of deep tissue work utilized to release adhesions, re-educate resting muscle length and realign muscle and connective tissue fibers. Among many other benefits, this technique helps to reduce muscle tension and chronic pain, speeds healing after injury or surgery, increases postural efficiency and enhances athletic performance. This type of bodywork is individualized to your needs and may include Body Insight (c) Neuromuscular Therapy, Muscle Testing, Muscle Stripping, Ice Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Cross Fiber Friction, Deep Transverse Friction and/or Therapist Assisted Stretching and Strengthening. Neuromuscular Rehabilitation is very effective in facilitating change with chronic pain patterns that may be associated with the following: athletic injuries and their resulting compensation patterns, migraines/headaches, TemporoMandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD), whiplash injuries, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS), Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), Sciatica, Piriformis Syndrome, shin splints, Plantar Fasciitis, and scoliosis along with other spinal curvatures and rotations that are “idiopathic” (unknown origins) or “mobile” (resulting from muscle imbalance) (30, 60, and 90 minute sessions only).

Myofascial Release is a technique used to evaluate and treat restrictions and adhesions in connective tissues by application of gentle traction, pressures and positioning. It coaxes muscles in spasm to relax, breaks up adhesions and scar tissue, releases stored tension and allows more flexibility and mobility of the muscles, fascia and associated structures.

Trigger Point Therapy is a very detailed form of deep massage that utilizes the application of concentrated finger pressure to individual trigger points. These are highly sensitive spots within the muscle tissue that often refer sensations to other muscles or other parts of the body. It’s used to increase blood flow, release trigger points, and is followed by Therapist Assisted Stretching.

Prenatal Massage enhances calm and relaxation of the body and mind, decreases muscle tension and pain, and increases the feeling of over-all well-being during pregnancy (30, 60, and 90 minute sessions only).

Happy Mommy=Happy Baby!

Allowing the expectant mother comfort while lying face down, and providing ample space for enlarged breasts and bellies, pregnancy pillows help to create an incredibly relaxing massage experience! These cushions are covered in sheets and additional pillows can be added to support your individual shape.
